Lesson 6 SOLVING PROPORTIONAL Relationships

Good Evening Girls and Boys,
We are moving onward with Solving proportional relationships.  Remember a proportion is an equation with 2 equivalent ratios or fractions!  We will be introducing Cross Products to help solve these proportions.  Cross Products are when you have 2 equivalent ratios and the numerator times the denominator = the denominator time the numerator.  Really confusing with the words, but the examples should help clear up the confusion.   In solving proportions you must make sure that you line up the same unit on top as well as the same units on bottom.  This sounds crazy hard also, but never fear, the videos are here!
Hi this beauty belongs to Jordan.
He looks like he is sunning himself getting ready for winter.
 Cutie Pie.
Homework: Read the blog, watch the videos and take notes in your graphic organizer for lesson 6 SOLVING PROPORTIONS!
As always in MATH,
Mrs M
