Hello Girls and Boys,
I know that you will not have your laptops yet, but really wanted
you all to know how to get to this blog site from any other computer you may have. This blog is a great place to check in with every day. SOOOOO...... we start!
This year we will be FLIPPING the Classroom. Flipping the classroom means that you will be watching instructional videos and taking notes as homework and then the next day in class you will work on worksheets and math stations as a group.
The videos are for you to watch and rewatch as needed for each type of problem of the standards. These videos also are a way parents can join in on what is happening in the classroom also. In addition, if you are absent from school,
these are a way to stay up on the work from class. Plus, these videos are a great review before the dreaded TEST!
Please know that you will have many chances of getting the grade you deserve,so retakes are available! I want you all to do well with less pressure in the math class and learn that math is not so hard. You will be expected to keep up with the work on a daily base, but this load is doable! So hang on, and we are OFF to a great year........
